I have never seriously studied Welsh language and I want very much to do so. I have been working a little on my own, but would like to be grounded in the fundamentals and begin to be conversationa l. This is a life-long dream of mine, to learn to speak Welsh. I learn fast, but it is always difficult to try to teach oneself foreign language from a book, especially when there is a lot of new pronunciation . I look forward to hear from you.

I wish to learn some Welsh language to be equipped for travel to British Isles in (probably) late 2007-2008. My father's mother was Welsh, but did not speak in Welsh with her children. I have learned a little in the past from a 'teach-yourse lf...' book and occasionally go to Cymanfa ganu at the Melbourne Welsh Church.
I am a teacher myself, with a teenage family and would have maybe 3-4 hours per week to dedicate to language study. Any form of instruction would be acceptable: online, a written course, individual lessons or larger class, as long as there is an oral component.
A teacher who can pass on an appeciation of the cultural heritage of Wales would be a blessing.
