I am a french Canadian native speaker and I have been traveling for 7 months. I am currently teaching english in Istanbul but will be moving to Stockholm on the 3rd of April 2009.
I plan to stay in Sweden for several months and therefore, I am extremely eager to learn the basics of swedish. I'd like to be functional in daily encounters, short conversations . I'd like to know a bit of grammar but I am mostly aiming to speak swedish and be able to read it.
Also, I am looking for private or semi-private lessons as I will be in and out of Stockholm, traveling in Scandanavia. I need a flexible teacher that can give me 2 weeks off once in a while so I can travel and than pick up when I am in the city. My boyfriend lives in Stockholm so I am garanted to come back to it on a regular basis.
Fre e during the days of the week, evenings as well. Looking for a quick start, so a few times a week (2 or 3).
Lookin g for a dynamic teacher that will make it easy, visual and make me practice ORALLY. I am willing to do work at home.
