Hello sir,
I have a situation. I am currently living in Quezon City with my cousins, and I will stay here for an additional 3 years for College. I am a Fil-Am but I barely understand Tagalog. I would like to inquire about your approach in teaching me. I am still a beginner, and I would like to improve on conversation. Since I am taking classes now, I would mostly likely have time during Monday, Wednesday, and Sundays. I want a teacher who is semi-strict when it comes to my lessons. Thanks for your time.

We are coming to live in Manila longterm to work with an NGO as volunteers.
We want to learn to communicate well in Tagalog in speaking, writing and reading. We want to learn the foundations and not just phrases or conversation.
We are beginners and want to concentrate for the first 3-4 months on language learning so will spend much time practicing.
We are looking for a teacher who can offer flexibility as we have 2 young children. We are looking for someone who can help us also understand the Filipino culture, make our language learning usable and practical.

I am interested in learning Tagolog because I would like to communicate with my fiance in her native language as well as be able to speak the language when I travel to the islands to visit my family currently living there. My level is that of a beginner and I need to improve in all areas of communication . I would like to dedicate 2 hours per day 2 or 3 nights per week with a teacher that not only makes learning exciting, but will push me to learn.
