i am a beginner. i would like to learn arabic because i love the language and id like to learn about Islam also so this would make it easier. I need to improve everything because i dont know anything, but most if grammar.
I just need to know how much money i would have to put into it so i can consider it first. And id like to dedicate as much time as needed to learn Arabic. The qualities in my lessons or teacher are just dedication and helping me learn as much as i can.

My proficiency is intermediate comprehensive ly but less than intermediate in my speaking ability. I've had 1 yr (2003-04) of Arabic at UC Santa Cruz and spent 10 months in Cairo (2004-05).
I am learning Arabic because it seems a necessary language to know, I'd like to be a translator of Arabic and it is a beautiful language.
I need the most help with grammar, grammar, grammar. I'm also somewhat slow in my reading out loud of the language; meshing the sounds together so they sound clear, not all jumbled and misunderstood . I'd like to have more conversation confidence.
I will dedicate as much time as I can with my work schedule now and when my school starts in September. A few hours a day, week; it's negotiable.
I like my teachers to challenge me but also be light-hearted about the lessons if that makes sense. Patience and explaining things clearly are both good.
