My name is John and im a Korean American. I was born in the states and lived there my whole life. About a month ago, I received a job offer from SAMTAN and made a decision to move to Korea to start a new chapter in my life.
So why do I want to learn Indonesian?
I think its very important for me to learn Indonesian if I want to grow in this company. SAMTAN does alot of overseas business in Indonesia and eventually I would like to be working in international trade/sales. If I want to work in this field, i need to develop basic Indonesian conversationa l skills. The more fluent I get in Indonesian the better opportunity I have with this company. I'm a beginner with no previous studies in Indonesian. I know learning a new language can be difficult, but one positive outlook I have is that i heard Indonesian is very similar to English. So hopefully this will help speed up the learning process!

Hi, I would like to learn Bahasa Indonesia since my work takes me to Indonesia quite frequently. The purpose is conversationa l as well as being able to read Indonesian web sites, news etc. I'm an absolute beginner.
I will be able to dedicate around 2-3 hours per week.
Conver ational class with a good mix of explanations around grammar and reading/spell ing would be ideal.
I speak English, German and French.

My husband and i want to learn Indonesian because we love the country, people and food. I learnt Indonesian at school for 3 years but am a bit rusty and my husband has learnt the basics from me.
We are looking for someone who would be willing to come to our house as we have a small child and it would have to be either after 6pm at night or on the weekend.
