Hi, my name is Mar García and I am a Spanish architect.
I have been living and working in Rotterdam for a year, but to be honest I have not improved my English skills so far and I want to change that.
My problem it is mainly the speaking, it is really hard for me. I don´t know why, because I have studied a lot when I was in Spain and I can manage more or less with the grammar and the vocabulary but when I should talk I usually do a mess because I am very shy and afraid to say something wrong. So, at the end I speak as less as possible at work and I speak Spanish the rest of the time...and I am kind of fed up with this situation and I really want to change it. I think my English has been becoming even worst!
So, I would like to take private lessons focusing them at the speaking and I must say that I am going to take it very seriously!!

Hi,
My name is Niki Fayaz, and I reside in the Netherlands, yet am currently in Toronto for a short while. I will be heading back to Holland soon for work (in a few weeks to be exact), however in the mean time I want to refocus my attention on learning Dutch. I am currently at the Pre-intermedi ate (B1) level in Dutch. However it had been some months since my last formal exposure to the language. I completed my Dutch language courses at the University of Amsterdam, and was taught by professors of Dutch. I have an academic background myself, in linguistics amongst other fields, and speak three other languages fluently. I realize that Dutch is not a simple language and because of my technical background I am quite easily able to pinpoint my areas of difficulty, and work on them myself. However if I can find a good teacher who offers classes at a reasonable fee,
I would rather utilize their expertise in helping to improve my Dutch.
