I am currently trying to learn Italian because I am going to Italy in six months for a wedding and would like to be able to communicate with the people there. I also have lots of free time and wanted to learn a new language.
I have a basic Italian vocabulary, but my grammar is sub-par and I would really like to be able to become somewhat conversationa l. Also, I think my accent is terrible and I want to work on pronunciation .
I want to have lessons between 1-3 hours per week.
I have always had a difficult time learning a new language, so I would like someone who is patient and willing to put in the effort to correct my mistakes.

I plan to travel to Japan regularly because I love the country and Japanese food.
I'm a beginner, but I'm trying to learn from books and CD at the moment.
I want to improve conversation skills, with some understanding of basic grammar,
plus a bit of reading Japanese (so I would be able to read menu at restaurants,
and signs posts), and to be able to understand Japanese movies.
I have time to learn about 2-3 times per week.
I would like to find a pleasant female teacher who is able to teach Japanese that the new generation use.
