I am an english speaking Canadian adult interested in learning conversationa l Korean (I do not need to learn how to read or write). I have no experience in speaking the language and so I am a beginner.
I belive the language may help me professionall y, but I am learning more out of interest.
I am unsure as to what sort of time commitment would be required to learn a new language of a weekly basis, but would like to dedicate about 2 hours each week if that may be appropriate.
I am looking for a teacher who will create a fun learning environment and who has excellent english skills (as I know no korean yet and we would need to communicate effectively).

I am beginner and crazy but I am actually Korean. I was bron in Korea but due to a lot of complications i had to be adopted. I have tons of friend who are korean though who have lived here ranging from 10 years to only 6 months. So learning Korean is something i have wanted to do for a long time and is necessary for me. I am going to meet my girlfriends parents in December adn they do not speak english at all so i need to learn quick and effectivly. I need to be as close to fluent as possible by Christmas time.
Areas that need work... all of it. I need someone who can teach me how to talk. Cause i know that conversation is sometimes different than actual lessons learned in classroom. Someone to talk to and e-mail and MSN chat to.
