I am trying learning french for reasons that might seem logically solid, but enough for me to embark on this journey. To expose, enlighten, and better myself is my reason. I hope that is an enough reason to whomever is reading this.
I know nothing about the french language. I know how to count to 5, but that is not something considerable, right? maybe in this country it is? i dont know.
I suspect you have already deduced that i need to learn about everything right?
For this summer? I think a month would do me a lot of good.
Someone understands how student learn languages. Someone who is patient. Someone who knows what he is teaching.

Hi there,
My name is Ahmed and I am a British Egyptian national living in Cairo(Heliopo lis). I need a French tutor to help me in grammar and vocabulary because I have a French translation exam in October 2011 as part of my Masters degree. There is no listening or speaking part in my exam, they will give me two or three paragraphs from a novel or newspaper article and I will need to translate it fairly accurately into English. English is my first language, Arabic is my second. I consider myself a beginner in French.

I would like to learn basic french to be able to communicate with people. My native language is english, and I have almost completed my bachelors degree in the states. I know a tiny bit of french, but would like to learn more with an emphasis on vocabulary and conversation. I am in leuven for a month, until end of august, and am available most days, but not on the weekends.
