Dear Liliana,
I am very interested in learning Spanish. I have already done some courses but unfortunately , I have forgotten most of it. I try to learn on my own, though I am not really consequent about it... As I love languages and speak Italian and French, too I think that I am a quiet fast and keen learner.
I would be interested in taking lessons for one or two times a week on a 'free' timetable, as I travel. Of course, I would always let you know my availability in advance.
Please be so kind as to let me know your price per lesson.
It would be quiet convenient, too if you could teach me at home, which is at Dundas/Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga.

Hi folks
I am a beginner level student. I am 40 years old. I am married and we have recently celebrated our 19th anniversary.
I want to learn Spanish for a number of reasons: 1. My God children are of Cuban heritage. 2. I just return from my first trip to Mexico and fell in love with the people and the culture. I want to be able to show a little appreciation for the culture by learning to speaking Spanish. While I was on my trip I started to pickup on a few expressions; thanks to the kindness and patience of the locals.

Why you are learning your foreign language:
Spanish: - For career advancement and because this is my spouse's native language. I love the language and the culture.
Jap anese: For career advancement and because I am very interested in Japanese culture and history.
Y our proficiency level:
Spanish: - moderate to advanced. My vocabulary is advanced but my verbs are moderate.
Japanese: beginner. No previous experiance.
The areas in which you feel you need particular improvement:
Spanish: verbs
Japane se: all!
How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons:
A couple of hours per week for each language. With additional homework and lesson time.
Spanish - I prefer private to start.
Japanese I can do small group or group classes.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher:
M ust have some experiance in teaching a second language. Must be flexible as I have a varying schedule. Must be organised and have material that I can take home and look at and work on.

I just returned from Colombia for a business trip. It was my first time trying to speak in Spanish but was very captivated by the language and culture and would like to return.
I am truly a beginner but am keen to built up a base quickly and thoroughly in conversationa l Spanish over the next one year. I would like to work with a teach who strongly encourages homework every night and meeting one to two times a week to practice. Ideally in a small 3 person group setting, I would speaking often and the teacher would speak very little and do lots of correcting -- I learn best by trying it out!
I have some French language base which has helped when reading Spanish. Overall, by the end of one year (March 2010 - March 2011) I would like to have a basic to intermediate understanding of both written and spoken Spanish.
I would like to begin classes as soon as possible.
