I am actually half Iranian, but my father never spoke Farsi with us and so now at 20 years old I am hoping to learn my father's language so that I might be able to communicate with my family over in Iran. I definitely want to focus on my conversationa l capabilities, but I want to learn to write and read and grammar as well. I can recite the alphabet and for the most part read and write it, I know numbers up to 100, and a few other basic courteous phrases. So, I am definitely at a beginner level. I am currently in school and working, so until June 2005, I will only be able to dedicate 3-4 hours to language lessons. After June I can commit to more time if we see that is possible or necessary.

I am a current Graduate Business student at the University of Colorado at Denver. I am interested in a career with the CIA, FBI, or Secret Service. I am a very ambitious and serious student with the desire to learn a Middle Eastern language or Russian. Unfortunately , I have no experience with any language except for English and Spanish. I want to become more or less fluent in whatever language I choose to pursue and I will dedicate whatever time necessary to accomplish this goal. I am looking for a reasonably priced instructor with the ability, and patience, to turn me into an effetive communicator, both written and spoken.

I am a beginner. I would love to learn Persian Farsi so I can talk with my relatives in Iran. I have had a hard time finding a class that I can enroll into .
