I want to learn German because I believe learning my ancestors' language would make me understand them more. Also, I hope to be a German in the later part of my life. I only know very basic terms in German. My summers (April and May) are free and, as I am currently a college student, my free time depends on my schedule each semester. I want my teacher to be a good speaker/liste ner, knows English and speaks/writes German well. A good plus for my teacher would be familiar with the German culture as I want to learn more about Germany.
