I love watching Korean movies, dramas, and etc. I am a beginner to Korean language, I started admiring the language first when I saw My Sassy Girl. I thought to myself that learning Korean would not only give me the challenge I need but it will look good on my career and someday I was hoping to visit Korea and I don't want any language barrier getting in the way. I want to learn how to converse properly in Korean not only in correct grammar but everything. I want to dedicate all of my available time to learning this language. I am a graduating student and I am currently enrolled to 9 units. I have all the time I need to learning this language as fast as possible. I am hoping that my lessons will be laid simple and not complicated. I hope I can connect with my teacher and I hope he/she will dedicate his/her time on me and making learn fast.

I am a beginner in Korean. My father lives in Korea and has lived there for 20 years. His current wife and adopted daughter are Korean. I would like to be able to speak Korean with them and with everyone the next time I visit him in Korea. I need lessons in all areas. I am currently learning from a book and CDs but I do not think it's helping much with my speech or comprehension . Also, it is difficult to get feedback from a book. I would say conversation is most important to me but I think that other things underlie the ability to speak, such as grammar and vocabulary. However, I would also like to be able to read and write in Hangul. I would like to take maybe 2 lessons a week and do a lot of work on my own. I am very bad at learning to pronunciate things correctly in other languages and I would appreciate someone who is somewhat patient.
