I have no previous knowledge of Japanese.
I'm interested in learning Japanese for career advancement purposes and for having an edge over other candidates when applying to the The Wharton School for an MBA. Learning Japanese is one of the things in my 'to-do' list I hope to accomplish before I'm ready for Wharton.
I can dedicate two full years to learn Japanese.
I wish to read, write, converse in Japanese so when I'm dealing with Japanese clients for example, during my chosen career (i.e. Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory), I'd be able to understand exactly their needs without a communication void. Any teacher who could impart those skills to me in terms of reading, writing and conversing in Japanese will do just great for me.
