I am beginner (no knowledge of the Japanese language). I wish to learn conversationa l Japanese to assist day-to-day living in Tokyo. (I am currently not working, as have accompanied my husband on his Tokyo-based contract working in the oil and gas sector.)

I would like to improve my basic level in Japanese. I've studied for one year and spent 2 months in Japan, so I can read Hiragana and Katakana, and some Kanji. I would need to refresh my knowledge and I would like to have a more fluent Japanese (especially for speaking).
My native language is French but I also am fluent in English and Italian, and I know some Spanish. I can learn languages pretty quickly, and I am motivated to study. I think 1 or 2 lesson(s) a week would be enough (1h30 each).

I am still quite a beginner in Japanese. I have about a year of lessons under my belt (at Carleton University in Ottawa) and I am currently studying Art at Camosun. I have lost a lot of what I have learned but can still read hiragana and katakana fairly well (though slightly slower than I was able to last year) and with a quick revision I will easily catch up on the 200 or so kanji I have studied as well.
I am looking to study Japanese in the summer while I don't have other classes to worry about. Help! :D
