I am learning Japanese because it has always been a language of interest since I was a young boy. I seek to study abroad and would like know as much as possible.
I have taken two classes at my community college and have been abroad once
for a month. I know hiragana and katakana and my kanji extends beyond what we learn in class.
I am willing to dedicate as much time as needed to expand my language skills.
Qu alities I look for in my teacher: strict, straight forward attitude when it comes to lessons but willing to help me understand when I need the help.

I am looking for a tutor for my 17-yr old daughter. We just returned from Australia, where she learned Japanese from a Japanese-born teacher, for almost 3 years. The Australian schools teach Japanese in the regular high school curriculum, however she will not be able to take it in her Aurora, CO high school.
