To whom it may concern, I am a serious student wanting to take on, and develop my skills in a foreign language. My girl friend, whom I am very serious about is from Bulgaria, and I have tried my best to lean the Bulgarian language. With her help I have been able to read and pronounce the cyrillic alphabet, writ simple words, and speak simple sentences. However, she doesn't have the skills to teach me proper grammar, and sentence structure so I can understand the relations of the language. My goal is to be able to read, write, and speak fluently. I plan on going to Bulgaria in two years to retire on pension. I was thinking of the Varna Beach Resort Area. I do not speak or understand Bulgarian presently. I would like to learn basic conversation and vocabulary. Depending what type of delivery ie: Live or online.I probably could spend 2-3hrs a week. I would prefer live one on one with a Native Bulgarian as I would like to learn cultural aspects of the country as well as language. I live about 40ks from Victoria, British Coumbia, on Vancouver Island.
