I would like to learn Polish because the language is part fo my heritage. My mother is Polish (but born here), and my father is Canadian, so I was braught up with only English in our house. Although my Babcia and Dziadzio spoke polish, and had immigrated, we never were taught more then minor basics. I have a basic understanding of the language (I tend to understand a lot more then I can speak when I am around the language), but a strong understanding of our culture.
I would also like to learn Polish because I work in the social work field, and would love to be able to speak and help Polish clients.
I would like to learn concersationa l Polish.
I was hoping to do an hour lesson once every two weeks, with a ton of homework.

I would like to start learning Polish for professional reasons.I expect to start professional activities in Warsaw during next year.
As I work in Bucharest for the time beeing, I would like to have live lessons, after work day, in the evening.
The number of lessons and duration should be also, in my point of view, suggested by the Teacher due to her experience in accordance with the above mentioned.
I would be very happy to be able to read, speak and understand 'basic' Polish after 2 or 3 months of intensive course as it will be very usefull for me!
