I am a beginner I have been to Italy once and enjoyed it immensley. However there was a communication barrier and i would like it gone.
My reason for learning Italian is purely recreational and my keeping a bet to new friends in Italy.
I am not certain how much time during the week I can dedicated to learning the language but I know that on the weekends I am most available.
The only quality I would like in my teacher is an authentic Italy that can give me corrections on the pronouncation and other areas.

I consider myself a pre-intermedi ate to intermediate student. I lived in Rome for one year and I would like to continue learning Italian for my own pleasure. I would like to improve my conversationa l skills, though certainly some grammar will be necessary.
I would be willing to dedicate three to five hours a week to lessons, depending on the teacher's availability. Above all, I am looking for a teacher who makes me feel comfortable speaking and who can instruct me more on spoken expressions rather than perfect, perfect Italian.
