Hello, my name is Amy Omeara and I am definately a beginner. All I know in Arabic is 'shukran habibi' but am interested to learn the alphabet and language basics so that I can carry on conversations with my Palestinian boyfriend of 9 months and also to hear what his mom is saying (or rather, shouting) when she calls. If I can find a local teacher I would like to have personal lessons on the weekends and also have Wednesday evenings free as well. If I am unable to find a local teacher, I would be interested in other ways of learning and am open to suggestions. I am 29 years old and require a patient teacher. Thank you.

I'd very much like to improve my arabic. My arabic knowledge is probably of an intermediate level and I'd like to progress to more advanced levels. I have a grade 'C' in arabic O'level. I need improvement in all areas, especially grammar and vocabulary. I can attend classes once/twice a week - preferably on a saturday or in the evenings, and I also prefer group classes, with a focus on conversation.
