I come from south Africa and I have always been interesting in learning Afrikaans but my mom and dad wont teach me because we are 'English Africanas' also some girls at my school have recently come to nz and they tell me they are the boer but I would really love to be able to talk to them because of their limited English. I have been studying Spanish since I was nine and passed my A level exams in it in high school. I continued to study it last year in University as well as Italian which I picked up last year (also at University), but I am currently taking a gap year from university and wish to keep up/practice my languages so that I can still remember them for when I return to complete my university degree in 2017. I have also recently started learning French but Italian and Spanish are the two main languages I wish to focus on. I find languages easy to pick up but I want to make sure I keep practising my grammar and conversation in particular is what I wish to focus on in order to become more fluent and confident in these languages. I look for fun yet focussed lessons, perhaps one-on-one or even with a group of people. I look for my tutor to provide a range of learning techniques including audio-visual, watching videos, oral, and more. Thanks for your help! :)
