I am at beginner level in Russian and live in Kiev in Ukraine so as you can imagine I need some teaching. I need grammar and vocabulary practice (including the alphabet) combined with speaking/list ening etc.
At the moment I'm looking at either two l hour lessons or 1 2 hour lessons a week. My schedule is tricky. The best time would be weekends and the odd morning.
T he main quality I'm looking for in a teacher is patience.

My proficiency level is that of a beginner,I could read some
words and phrases and can also say a few words and phrases.
the reason for me in trying to learn the russian language is
because recently I took a trip to russia and loved it,and I
also made new friends and have a girlfriend there.I love the
culture and in many ways it is like my culture,Mexic o.I do
so want to keep in touch with my new friends,and be able to
communica te with them.I'm also planning to take a second trip to russia soon,and maybe then I would at least learn
enough to make small conversation and wouldn't have to use an interpreter to dine out or sightseeing.I 'm willing to dedicate time and put effort into learning the language to the point of making conversation, being able to ask and answer questions.now the question is can it be done?
