my family and i go to bali once a year and i love the place! My mum & i would really like to learn basic Indonesian conversation just to relate to some of our friends over there & to have a second language in our vocabulary, we both work full time so it would have u be after hours like a night schooling thing maybe once a week a class.

I have a solid basis in Bahasa Indonesia, having learnt in Jogja for a month, and then at University in London for a year as part of a Masters. However it is very rusty, and I wish to bring it back up to scratch through maximum one to one practice (I signed up for a course, which was excellent, but there was no practice at all). I also worked on Pulau Nias with PBB for 5 months. But it is very rusty now...
I would ideally hope to practice one to one, little but often. I have books galore to use as a prop where required.

I would like to learn Indonesian so that I can converse with the locals when I travel to Bali, Lombok and Sumbawa in June 2010.
I am an absolute beginner, but I a phrase book that I am learning from.
I would like 1 to 2 hours of classes per week, but I will practice and complete homework assignments between classes.
I am looking for a teacher who can also teach Indonesian and its context in Indonesian culture.
