I am an intermediate in Serbian-Croat ian. I studied at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California. My last test scores were in March 2005 with Reading level 3 and Listening level 3. My last oral proficiency was in October 2001 with a level of 1+. I just seperated from the Army and would like to continue my language study, as I worked very hard to attain the level I am at currently.
I would like to meet maybe once a week at first to see how I am balancing my work and studies. I would not mind meeting in small groups, but I prefer face to face meetings.

I am a beginner, the only word I know in Serbian is Zdravo! I am learning this language because my girlfriend is of Serbian descent and I want to surprise her on her birthday next year (August 2006) by showing her my proficiency and progress. I would like to be able to converse in the Serbian language. I would like to dedicate as much as necessary to become semi-fluent. A teacher with patience but at the same time will push me to learn when the going gets tough.

I'm a beginner: I had about 2 months classes of Serbian, having been living three months in Serbia the last summer. I would like to continue to learn the language, not for professional purposes but just for everyday conversation or to speak with friends.
I would like to dedicate one or two hours (in a row) a week to lessons.
I am looking for interactive lessons with a teacher equipped with pedagogic skills such as clarity, method.
