I am working in travel and I deal with the German Market. To aid my business, I would like to learn to speak German.
I am a beginner - I knowa few stand alone words, but no sentences.
I need to learn to converse in a business manner.
I am willing to spend two nights a week to learning on a one to one basis - and at least an hours a day on my own revision. I need someone how is patient and has a sound knowledge of German. A teacher who is happy to teach the language!

I am retired and have been learning german for some years but have not learnt enough. My level is just below intermediate. Two years ago I had lessons for two weeks in Ilmenau. I have previously had 4 weeks in Freiburg and Regensberg. Each two years I come to Germany for a month or two and have travelled extensively there and stayed in many german homes and will do so this year. I would like two weeks for a few hours each day in Berlin. My dates for Berlin are 4-14th September, 2009 while I am staying in Kreuzberg. Academic Qualification s are postgraduate.
Rote learning is not for me. Experiential learning is more suitable. Sharing crowded rooms with teenagers is a thing of the past for me. As is spending time on computers in cramped spaces. At times I have problems with my dominate arm so want to avoid stressful writing.
My tutor in Ilmenau would probably accept contact but I have not requested this yet.
