I am a beginner, with a bit of knowledge, that is basic Afrikaans. I need to be able hold a constant conversation in Afrikaans. I am a Medical Rep working in East Rand, this could be of great benefit to my carrer development. I'm learning my foreign language because I want to.
My proficiency level is biginner.
The areas wich I feel I need particular improvement are grammar and conversation.
The time I want to dedicate to my language lessons is an hour per day 'til I'm done.
My teacher's qualities might be: better if he/she is someone who speaks 'Portuguese' or 'Tsonga', good if he/she speaks 'English' (because I'm also not so good in English) and that is all.

I have a girlfriend in Thailand who I am hoping to marry. I only know the basic greetings, thankyou and so on.
I want to learn to be able to converse in a clear way in Thai.
I am willing to put in as much as possible so that by December 2012 I am well on the way to being able to have a conversation.
I would preferably (but not a necessity) want a Thai person to teach me or someone who knows the Thai language very well and can teach in a well ordered manner.
The person does not have to be a qualified teacher as long as they know how to teach and give lessons.
