Dear Sir/Madam
My name is Antony. I am an English born New Zealander married to a Romanian woman and we live in London. I am wanting to learn Romanian fluently to be able to speak to and understand her family and friends when we see them, as well as when we visit Romania itself.
We have been married 3 years and I know some basic words, for example multumesc, verog, I can count to 100 (o suta), I know some of the words for colours - alb, albastru, rosu, negro etc. I know some animal names, some foods (mancare), drink etc.
Howev er I am not able to put together a sentence, and I am not able to understand anything but basics.
My wife has helped a lot, however because she is fluent in English I do not get much chance to practice and it is sometimes easier learning from a professional tutor, rather than from ones wife.
I am keen to get started straight away, and am able to travel around London, although would prefer someone as close to home as possible. I also have no idea as to cost of lesssons as I have never learnt another language before, but again am willing to pay the going rate to get further ahead in my relationships .

I have been learning Italian on and off for a few years now but I need to gain conversationa l practice. I am currently buying a holiday home in Italy and have several friends in Italy so would like to be able to speak to them in Italian.
I would like to have 1 or 2 hours of private lessons a week. I want the lessons to be fun and interesting.
