My husband and I would both like to learn French before beginning business school in Fontainebleau this fall. We will be vacationing in Tel Aviv this summer and hope to use this opportunity to learn French with an emphasis on conversationa l skills. We have little to no experience in French. We are both native English speakers, and our lessons will need to be English-to-Fr ench. We intend to take lessons 3-4 times a week over the course of roughly one month. Our ideal teacher would be able to meet in Tel Aviv with a conversationa l, rather than textbook, approach, including various social and light-busines s settings.

I want to increase my proficiency in conversationa l French. I would say I am intermediate level, - I can 'get by' in most situations though my tenses and grammar need much improvement. I would like a 'crash course' whilst I am on holiday in Bangkok arriving on October 19th. Say 4 hours a day for 7 or 8 days.
My aim is to be fluent within a year, I will also be taking an immersion course in France in the Winter/Spring . I would like my Teacher to be honest and straightforwa rd, very critical if need be. I prefer minimal writing in lessons.
