By the time I need assistance I will have finished 2 university Russian language courses. So I could possibly be classified as an intermediate. I really love the Russian language, its culture and history and I plan to travel to Russia one day. I definitley need help with speaking the most, but I would like to find a teacher that would help with all areas of the language. I am looking for a teacher starting in May of 2005, when University is finished. I would like to find a teacher who knows Russian fluently, is ready to be patient with me, and who has some experience teaching or tutoring. But at this point, I havent found any classed within Edmonton during the summer, so anyone who speaks Russian and is willing to devote time will do!!

I am a beginner in Russian with a basic vocabulary, but I can read/pronounc e Cyrillic (and do limited writing in it).
I wish to study Russian because of a deep personal interest in it. I began learning it for a trip to Moscow a couple of years ago. I teach in an international school and don't discount that I may eventually work in areas where Russian may benefit me.
Though improvement is necessary in all areas, I am especially keen to become proficient in conversation. I would like to become confident in any social situations I may encounter with speakers of Russian.
I do not require an especially fast pace, since I will be in Beijing for years, most likely. Regular but not intensive lessons would be best.
In a teacher, I hope to find a professional who is patient but firm in helping me to improve. I learn fairly rapidly, so I would like a teacher who can adjust the pace according to my grasp of content.

I am a beginner and I wish to pursue Russian as a career. I would like to be a Russian translator one day and go to college as a russian major. I need improvement with conversation and sentences. I know some words in Russian, but I do not know how to use correct sentence construction. If I could find a teacher/tutor that would be great. I am not sure how often I would like lessons, I am very flexible and I could work it out with the tutor.
