My name is Laureline and I am a learner of the Ukrainian language. I started learning the Ukrainian grammar for fun some years ago with websites and grammar books / textbooks and I have two years of private lessons (once a week) behind me to dive into conversation. I have visited Ukraine once and practiced speaking with all people available, but the occasions are rare. I would say that my level is beginner: I am able to form simple sentences, understand very little when listening and a bit more when reading. I comprehend the grammar very well.
Having moved recently back to Europe (where I am from), to Brussels specifically, I miss the opportunities to continue learning and improving my oral skills at this language. I would really like to get the chance to converse with a native speaker once a week, if possible, adjusting to my professional schedule, which means either weeknights or weekends. I am not looking for any particular qualities in an instructor for this task, only to be patient and open to conversation topics which would enrich my vocabulary.
