Teaching Approach

If I have to summarize my teaching philosophy I would do it in two words: In context. All languages share a common context that most human beings are able to understand. Learning vocabulary for example can be much easier if we learn words as part of meaningful sentences and not only in lists. It is my belief that "Language in Action" is usually the most dynamic and efficient way to approach learning a foreign language.

Learn to understand and communicate orally in the target language. Reading appropriate level texts. Pronunciation correction. Grammar and conversation exercises
Help with written and oral presentations .

35 years of teaching experience (mainly French).
I also teach Persian and English.

Ph.D in French Literature and Culture.
Nat ive speaker of French and Persian.
Nea r-native proficiency in English.
