My lessons are very lively with clearly defined aims. The materials I use and the activities I choose are designed to maximise the level of engagement of the student, and provide opportunities for the student to improve his/her communication skills. With Japanese students I try to activate high levels of grammatical knowledge and passive vocabulary that typically mainstream education has provided them, focusing on the development of listening and speaking skills. My approach is eclectic, drawing on the needs of the students. |
