Like I mentioned above - my approach is to make the lessons very personal to the student's particular needs and have fun when we learn. I want us to talk about many different topics to improve vocabulary, and I teach grammar in those contexts, so the student is more likely to remember the correct structures. We will also do a variety of listening, grammar and reading tasks in class, and mostly writing tasks for homework. I like to use videos and online pages for practice exercises or games. If you are preparing for an exam (e.g., IELTS), we will focus on practice exams and strategies to improve your score. |
