For students with intermediate or upper intermediate level I usually follow Italian literature (contemporary literature) and I like discussing in Italian touching some important issues of my country....be cause I think that learning a language is impossible without knowing culture and routine. For beginners I prefer focusing on grammar: I know it could be boring, but it's completely impossible learning Italian without a good grammar.
This is a general line of working, but every approach depends on every student. I think a good teacher has to consider the abilities and the characteristi cs of every student to teach as better as they can. |
