I believe that there are four very important points for learning English quickly and effectively.
1) Knowing how to learn. I will teach you how to "learn" English so that you can become a better English user quickly. 2) Knowing your learning style. Everyone has a different learning style. Some people prefer to learn from books, some people from CDs, some people from writing out things. These are all different types of learning styles, but they might not be best for you. Do you know which learning style is best for you? In the first interview, I will ask you some questions so that we can help find your best learning style. I will then make all of lessons using that learning style so you can remember what you learn! 3) Motivation. Is it hard for you to stay motivated and wanting to study? I will review these things with you to help find your motivation. Also, we will set goals and tasks so that you can see that you are progressing in class. 4) Relaxing and being foc... |

I would not like to use textbooks, but I would prefer to concentrate on the practical application of the language in context. Through repeated explanation of grammar and vocabulary, I think students will gradually and effortlessly gain fluency in natural sounding speech.

Method of teaching depends largely on the skill level and experience of the student. For advanced students I often turn lessons into discussion of business or political issues. For university students the discussions often center on social issues. For children a total physical response methodology is generally employed. |

First, know some personal stuff about the student like ask if she/he can speak and understand basic english, Sec ond, to make them aware that studying and speaking better english can boost their confidence a hundredfold,
Third, Inspire and motivate them to become better speaker and that it's okey to make mistakes because that's how we learn, and even teachers like us make mistakes too. My program is unique because i produce events at the end of say months lessons, to showcase what the students have already learned, in music, i produce recitals, and in english speaking, some kind of a play. I'm a certified jazz artist with O1 visa in the US, and teaching there as well. In Japan, i teach mostly young professionals and executives. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with a minor in journalism. I have parents who are both writers , i love teaching as well as performing, and i care a lot about my students. |
