One thing that makes me unique is I have an intermediate level of Korean which makes me understand a lot of the idiomatic, grammatical and vocabulary differences that Korean students might struggle with. In addition, I have taken numerous courses in further education in order to learn the latest methodology in ESL teaching. But even more importantly, I have been doing this for over 20 years now, and can work with all types of different student personalities and abilities. The only students I cannot work with are students who are being forced to study but personally don't like English. If that's you, it happens, I understand, but I wouldn't be right for you. |
