Through my years of teaching I have developed a style that is both instructive and makes the lessons exciting and enjoyable for students. I believe people learn the best when they enjoy themselves. I use real world examples to make my lessons relevant - for example if wee are studying 5 new words I will make you use those words in a story to cement them into your memory.

It is very important for language students to have a native speaker teacher who can really help them with listening, reading, writing and speaking sections. I can correct the pronunciation , the grammar and the expressions of the students, especially if I can work individually or in small groups. If I am teaching in front of 20 students, I don't just speak at them, but I involve each student and encourage them to participate and ask questions. I want them to feel comfortable and excited to ask questions and enrich their knowledge. I often use my particular skills to teach my students (especially young students): drawing, singing, playing piano, creating games. I am very patient but also a bit strict: if there is a student who is disturbing the whole class, I find ways to make him interested and quiet. |
