In many ways, mastering Latin is different from mastering a spoken foreign language. In both cases, mastering the fundamentals of grammar and vocabulary is essential. Latin grammar can come off as more complicated than grammars of other languages, but my explanations and examples are designed to make it clear and easy to understand.
What makes my lessons unique is that I tailor them to individual student's needs and goals. I have been trained as a teacher and have experience designing lesson plans, but I rarely design lessons more than two or three in advance, because I believe it is essential for a lesson to meet a student exactly where he or she is. |
