Re:teachers'exchange forum
Buon giorno Lucy,
I am writing from Canada. However, I am not a teacher. I am interested in teaching english in ITALY. I am currently taking my second level of italian. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me about your experience and how to become involved with teaching in another country.
Grazie, Rebecca

Chinese postgraduate student studying in UK
Hi everyone! I am a 23-year Chinese postgraduate student studying at University of East Anglia in Norwich,England. You may thought I have been Americanized or globalized in such an age but it is not sure. I come from a very traditional Chinese family, my father is a professor who teaching Chinese and my Mum is a French translator, so I think I can represent Chinese culture and understand western culture at the same time. Unfortunately, my English is not so good as you thought,so, I just want to looking for someone helps me to improve my English, and who is interested in Chinese everything, maybe we can work together and enjoy together!

Re:Mensaje para Kyle May
Hola kyle,When you say "me llamo kyle" it's as you say "my name is kyle" you can't translate the language word by word but getting the sense, in English you don't say "I call myself" and in spanish we use to say "me llamo" more than "mi nombre es", but it is also correct.
Once you have introduced yourself, for example:
-Hola, me llamo kyle. It can be answered:
-Mucho gusto (de conocerte)
-El gusto es mío.
you are right in the translation. It is a very formal way to introduce yourself, when you are with friends you can say " hola, qué tal".
I hope it was useful for you. Hasta luego. Almudena
