Newbie to learn Korean
Hi! I am a newbie in here and just curious how many gold members in here....
I am fluent in Bahasa (of course! it is my mother language!) and Japanese as I learnt it for 5 years and currently living in Japan.
And also Chinese (Mandarin, Hakka, Theochew) as I am a Chinese Indonesian. All this 5 language just kinda a native language for me.
I speak fair english, but I want to practice it more.
I am learning korean right now. I like to watch korean drama which is booming right now in Japan. I found some vocabulary that similiar with japanese and chinese. It is very fun!!
Will be great if can meet friends to exchange languange in here :)

I would like to talk or chat to somone in Japanese.
I speak english but would like to learn some coversational Japanese before I move there at the end of August 2007. I only know a few phrases, a little grammar, and most of the hiragana characters so far. But I think if I could chat or speak with someone it would help a lot. Email me to set up a chat or see if I'm availabe now. I have iChat as well for audio/video chats.
The real question I need to know is how to ask a father for his blessing in marrying his daughter. If I can ask that and know what possibly is a good response to that which he might say it would help alot.

Hai i'm a 14 year old girl, who just joined this place.. I'm not a gold member but i REAL want to learn Japanese via MSN and in return i'd teach you english.
I'm actually looking for a Japanese person, (female really) so i could ask quetions bout Japanese fashion e.g. Gothic Lolita, Visual kei etc and Japanese music and celebrites e.g. Gackt, erm.. An Cafe you know! :P

English looking for Japanese or French!
Hello! I'm looking for someone to help me learn my Japanese and keep the little French that I have. I am interested in Japanese culture, lately I'm very much into anime, manga and j-rock/pop.
