Wroking out puns exercise
"The tennis player could not sleep because there was a racket in the room." '"Waiter will the pancakes be long?" "No Sir, they are round"'
Do you know the humour behind the puns and which words tell us this?

Re:你能看懂这个中文笑话吗?
Hey Daniel,
Yes, with Google Ttranslate I can understand your joke. Since my mom (she is 56 years old) got Whatsapp she uses her handy more often than I do. She shows me ridiculous videos, I can not laugh about, but so are parents... So some days ago, I started to learn Mandarin and there are a lot of good websites. But I can not see the wood for trees. I don't really know where to begin. Should I learn some characters first of all. But which are important ones? Do exist a system to learn the writing of the character? What about the grammar? I read very often that the grammar is not so important in mandarin, is that true? And what about the pronunciation, I know there are four different tones, but I can not hear the differences among them.
I know that's a lot of questions, and I'm sorry for that. I just looking for some good tipps & tricks to get a feeling for chinese.
I'm happy to hear from you, Greeting Rick

Re:Re:HELLO, I NEED LEARN ENGLISH, I CAN HELP YOU WITH RUSSIAN LANGUAGE.
Hi, Monique! Yes, you are almost right. Russians and Bulgarians can talk to one another and understand main meaning of speech. But much words are different and we need to divine what do they mean. Same situation with Slovenija and little bit worse with Czech
