Re:How to say
Hi Adam, did you ever get a reply to your board message?
I believe the answer to:
What's up is - ezayek and or enta ameleh (for male) and enti ameleh (for girl) - this is slang as opposed to Kaif halek
Your hot and one sexy babe - well because of culture and religious customs sexual innuendos are somewhat a "taboo" but you can say to a girl - "ya gamila" (that means you are nice, attractive) Enti asel (you are as the honey) Enti sucra (you are as sugar) Ya habibti (my love)
Hope this helped

Re:i am collenting idioms in english, could you give me one?
Ciao! Some english idioms... er...
- It's raining cats and dogs (raining heavily) - Many hands make light work (lots of people make a job quicker) - The early bird catches the worm (get up early and prosper) - " See you later!" - "Not if I see you first!"
Some of these are the best I can think of for idioms, if I think of some more, I will post them. Hope that little helps.
PS... If you could teach me some general italian slang used between friends etc I would be grateful!

Meeting anyone from Chile...
Hola. I'm a 21yr old Aussie who would love to learn more Spanish. Ive been studying spanish for about 2months, but i want to become fluent eventually.
I'm hopefully coming over to Chile in about 18months, so it'd be cool if I could meet some people before I came. I love surfing, travelling and just basically having fun.
Im not a goldmember so it'd be sweet if you could send me an email and ill get back to you asap.
Thanks, Andrew

Re:Whoopsie, I forgot something important.
Hi Shaum: In reply to your suggestion as to help with the use of slang , it would really be wonderful for me to know certain expressions that I need as a foreign language teacher and that are not easily found in a dictionary . I speak spanish but I teach english in high school and for instance , students are always eager to know the meaning of songs which are full of slang. If you or anyone here needs help with spanish expressions I'm ready to help you .

Re:how to use this website
Hi Annie
Mostly what I do is look at the bulletin posts in the areas that are interesting to me. Actually, I look at them all, because I’m interested in most of them (there’s an option to look at all the messages in one list on the main bulletin board page.
I look at what people are talking about, and I butt in often when people are talking about things that interest me. If you’re a regular member, it pays to be known as either a resource of information, or as someone who works very hard to learn—I figure those are the people who are contacted by gold members. And I’ve been contacted a few times, so I figure I’m doing all right.
If you’re a gold member, I figure in your shoes, I’d look for those members who are interesting and/or committed to work with. I do quite a bit of work with my language (Spanish) off line, so that I can come up with interesting questions to ask on the exchange. And I cultivate friendships with other members, which gives me wonderful opportunities to learn more about cultures and such.
I’ve been a member about two months now, and I love it. Be sure not to ever post your e-mail address—we recently lost a member who tried to sneak his through to somebody in code and was kicked off. Other people get away with it. So I guess “you pays your dime and takes your chances,” as they say.
I have offered other suggestions to similar requests in the past. You might go to the BBoard main page and pull up the option to search for a message. I have posted the following messages, which you may or may not find helpful:
Message ID: 51540 48613 51207
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.
