Re:Re:SERBIAN/CROATIAN/BOSNIAN - Kate
I suppose that two or three times a week would be OK. The lessons will be always short and include some theoretical explanations, but I’m trying to make them interesting adding historical and anecdotal details.
But the technique is sometimes very tricky. Imagine: My first lesson didn’t appear at all. I’m eager to see if it finds its way through the thicket of Internet administration.
You can surprise your boyfriend asking him the questions in the section GAMES/SERBIAN/OTHER/BODY or HOME. He’ll make big eyes when you tell him the answers. By the way, I would be thankful for your comments, questions, and corrections.

SERBIAN/CROATIAN/BOSNIAN
Hi, everybody interested in Serbian, Croatian or Bosnian!
I’ve seen that some people would like to learn those idioms and also that some other offer their help. The problem is that the two sides probably don’t know how to do that. Let us try this way:

I will post my lessons and additional material on the BULLETIN BOARD and in the CLUB LIBRARY (Language 1 Serbian, language 2 English).
You should consult the BULLETIN BOARD (Activities and Games). Click the option VIEW ALL MESSAGES and look for the title SERBIAN/CROATIAN/BOSNIAN. The message will contain the necessary instructions and the reference on the previous messages, which make part of our course.
Your comments, especially concerning the different forms of expression in Serbian, Croatian or Bosnian, are welcome. They are very similar but not identical. I’m obviously no native English speaker but I’ll do my best. If you help me improve my English, you’ll automatically improve the quality of our course.

Don’t forget to look up in the CLUB LIBRARY! You’ll find a lot of useful expressions, but also some rubbish (not from me!).

Re:Re:Why don't we start with Spanish Lessons in this B. Board?
Oh, that's me again:D
Rafael, could you please translate the sentence: A FUERZA, NI LOS ZAPATOS ENTRAN.
I think you meant that noone comes in here, but am asking just to be sure:)
There's one more thing that you perhaps cannot even imagine it could cause problems: articles! Well, people whose native language belongs to the Roman or Germanic group use articles as something natural that doesn't need to be thought. However in Slavonic languages they don't exist, so learning Spanish, French or even English it's always the problem to distinguish which one of them should be used. Well, I generally know the rules and cases such as: "es UN perro" but "soy - estudiante" (with no article) are obvious to me. Nonetheless when it comes to more difficult examples I tend to have doubts (un/el/-). Luckily I can compare situations to the languages I had learnt before, but that's not always successful. So my request is to do a lesson about articles soon:)
Sincerely,
Marcin
