I usually ask non English speakers to send me their written material which I edit, then return to them. For example, your message:
"Really appreciate if you can help with written english! should be written: "
I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP IN WRITING ENGLISH. (THE 'E' IN ENGLISH SHOULD BE A CAPITAL LETTER)
Some students send me their homework or assignments whilst other people ask for help with written material associated with their jobs.
I usually communicate directly with people via email as it's easier to edit messages, but if you do not want to do so, I will understand.

Ich habe dir schon lange nicht mehr geschrieben, weil ich kaum Zeit finde. Gestern hat mein Winterurlaub begonnen. Wa”hrend der Winterferien, ich liebe Kino und Theater, Museen und Konzertsa”le. Winterurlaub letzten vier Wochen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt gut Eislaufen und skifahren und Eishockey spielen. Meine Fmilie und ich haben beschlossen in die Bergen gehen. Wir verbringen gute Zeit.

The member "Veronica Kopylova" mislead you again. Do not believe to her.
For example, we say often 'Здравствуйте' [Zdravstvuite] to lonely person too. It means 'Hello'.
The english word 'Hello' never translated as 'Привет' in Russian.
Please, be aware here are many roguish persons, who false describe their-self as allegedly native russian speakers and even give wrong tips about a Russian language here but actually their Russian are very poor.
They are just trying to lure you to more close contact with they. They use false profiles here and wrong tips as a bite to their con artistic trap.

Nigh people we say "Привет" (privet), and unfamiliar "Здравствуй" (zdravstvuy) or "Здравствуйте" (zdravstvuyte) if companion more one.
