A FUNNY ONE : Chinese English/Korean English vs English English
If you speak English to a Chinese or a Korean, who does not speak very good English, because of their language pattern to Chinese and Korean, the following might happen and confuse you :
E = English speaking person C/K = Chinese or Korean
E : You don't like jazz music? C/K : Yes.
Instead of saying "no, i don't" to agree with the question, in Chinese/Korean language pattern, you can hear answer like this one, because in their language, "yes" has a meaning like "that's right"
So English speaking folks learning Chinese or Korean, be aware of this common mistake that might confuse you, "yes" can mean "that's right, I don't like jazz music", and "no" can mean "you're wrong, I like jazz music"
Cheers!
