How do you do? I am presently learning french. I have a basic knowledge of it and would really like to improve my present level. i understand you equally understand arabic. i can read a little arabic but can't really speak it. However, i do not have any other language i can give in return except english.

Hello! I would like to know how can I say °ÅºÏ or turtle in Corean?
Soébody told me it's pronounced kabuk — that would be kuh book (long u sound on the oo) this is right? By the way Ia would like meet persons from Corea and practice english too. Or if you are intersted to practice spanish.

the "ll" (double L ) pronunciation in Icelandic
The rule I have read says that "ll" is pronounced "dl", so that a word like fullu or fallegur sound like fudlu and fadlegur. That all makes sense and I am fine with that.
My problem is with allt and alltaf. Every recording I can get my hands on seems to pronounce these words as if the "ll" were an "ff", so that allt becomes afft.
Am I hearing this correctly, or is there something I am missing?
