Re:I need someone to help me practise my English
Forgive me Michael, but your grammar is a little off, and you also spelled a word incorrectly. I do not mean to sound haughty, but perhaps you should improve your own English before teaching someone else. I do, however, applaud your desire to learn Thai. That shows determination.

Maya, I could be of some help to you, as well as Michael. Thai isn't on my list, but I'm sure it would be fun to learn!

Re:plaese help me with finnish!!
> can somebody tell me what "ei mikään
> varten tehdä" in english is???
>

The words do not form a correct sentence,
but the individual words are
"ei mikään" - "nothing"
"varten" - "for", "in purpose of"
"tehdä" - "to do"

If you replace "mikään" with "mitään",
you get a passive sentence meaning
"it is done for nothing", or
"it is done for no purpose".

Re:English speaker needs help to learn Serbian
Hi, Jenny!
There are some lessons from me here, look in the section ACTIVITIES/GAMES under the common title SERBIAN/CROAT/BOSNIAN. There are more to follow. If you have some questions, just post them on the board. I’ll answer them.

Re:Re:SERBIAN/CROATIAN/BOSNIANH
Hi, Daisy!
There are some lessons from me here, but they are just as a kind of window, so that the interested persons can recognize, what are the main features of the language. There are more to follow. But if you are already studying it, they will be of little use for you. Anyway if you have some questions, just post them on the board. I’ll answer them. And don’t believe that you can learn any language quickly, especially not the Serbian/Croat/Bosnian.

Hi Mark!
Thanks for asking. That would be understood like this
" Congratulations! A Vietnamese origin athlete who is a success in body-building in America.
Wish you and your family good health, more success and happiness"
