masculine and feminine
Hi there, I'm a native English speaker (American) and am just recently (think a few days only) begining to learn Portugese. My goal is to one day speak it fluently as a second language. I got quite confused because in the greeting "bom dia" bom means good however when you say "boa tarde" boa means good... a friend said it's because one is masculine and one feminine... How do you know what form to use in other sentances?? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
