Looking for Japanese friends!

Hi, Brandy.
We use Masu-form and Dictinary-form depends on situation.
Masu-form will be the base to make other forms for foreigners, so learn Masu-form first usually. Yes, Masu-form will be use to express politeness, and use Dictionary-form between friends and so on. But it depends. There are other forms, Nai-form, Te-form...
Masu-form will be helpful to learn others. So don't serious about now. If you do day by day, you will be OK. Goog luck!
