FISU World University Games Rhine Ruhr 2025
Wußtest Ihr, dass wir 2025 ein großes Sportevent im Ruhrgebiet haben? Vom 16.-27. Juli finden hier die World University Games statt.
Vielleicht nutzt Ihr die Gelegenheit, unsere Gegend und auch den Sportpark Duisburg einmal zu besuchen.
Ich würde allerdings nicht dazu raten, mit dem Auto zu fahren. Es gibt oft Stau und es ist schwierig, einen Parkplatz zu finden. Besser ist es, den Bus zu nehmen oder mit dem Fahrrad zu fahren.
Mit dem Fahrrad ist der einfachste Weg vom Bahnhof aus wie folgt: Ausgang Richtung Neudorf nehmen, nach rechts und die nächste große Kreuzung nach links in die Koloniestraße. Dem Straßenverlauf folgen und kurz vor dem Sportpark rechts abbiegen in die Kruppstraße.
Übrigens: Einen Radweg, der sich in schlechtem Zustand befindet, kann man auch melden, entweder dem ADFC oder dem Fahrradbeauftragten der Stadt Duisburg.

Maybe you'd like to take the opportunity to visit our area and also sportspark Duisburg.
However, I would not suggest to go by car. There are often traffic jams and it is difficult to find a parking. It is better to take a bus or go by bike.
The easiest way by bike ( coming from the station ) is to take the exit to Neudorf, turn right, at the next big crossroads left and straight on until you are very close to the sportspark where you turn right into Kruppstrasse.
Good to know: You can also report a cycle path that is in poor condition, either to the ADFC or to the City of Duisburg's cycle officer.

Duisburg bewegt sich - exhibition of Duisburg's sportsclubs
Nach 2 Jahren coronabedingter Pause gibt es dieses Jahr wieder die Veranstaltung “Duisburg bewegt sich” und auch wir, der Duisburger Schwimmverein DSV98, sind wieder mit dabei.
Kommen Sie gern an unseren Stand und informieren sich, wenn Sie Interesse haben an:
Schwimmen
Wasserball
Triathlon
Schwimmkursen
Aquafitness
Breitensport wie Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi…
und bei all diesen Aktivitäten auch nette Leute kennenlernen möchten.
After 2 years of corona break, "Duisburg bewegt sich" is back! All along Koenigstrasse, sports clubs will inform about their programme and also invite to participatory activities.
And also we, the Duisburg swimming club DSV98 ( a picture of our area is above ), will be there again.

Ironman
Did anybody of you already take part in an Ironman or help as a volunteer? I volunteered at Ironman Duisburg and I thought it was quite an interesting experience.

My favourite game
I am interested in sport too.My favourite sports are tennis and swimming.But sometimes watch football.This sport is interesting for me too.My favorite football team are Manchestr United,Liverpool and Barcellona.
